ask me ! 2002 Ford F-150 XLT (st louis) $3500
However, it does mention to be sure to grab the 3 rubber grommets off the donor car for the module that attaches to the gas pedal. Not sure if it applies to 3rd gen cruise, but I thought I'd mention it in case it does.
$50 for the PCM reflash (1/2 hr labor charge) at my Saturn dealership a month or so ago. like rc1488 said, you could probably get it done cheaper elsewhere.
you could theoretically use a PCM from a car from the same year and exact same options + cruise, but that's more work, runs the risk of something not matching, and probably won't save you much/any money depending on how much the junkyard wants.
Whether it's worth it is up to you, but I love my cruise control. Fairly easy to install, just a bit rough on the back to be contorted under the dash
